Q. How do I find my event during the tournament?

From the mobile home page select your event from the displayed list of today's events.  If your event is not displayed you can move forward or backwards by day or use one of the event search options which may be shown below the list.

Q. Do I need to register (create an account)?

Only if you want to create / organize an event.  Scorers on the course do not need to create an account.

Q. How do I score an event for my team?

Select your event and follow the prompts.

Q. We're playing an individual stroke-play tournament.  Can I score for each of the players in my group?

Absolutely!  When you ask to be a scorer for a tournament you can select to score for up to five players.

Q. Do I need to download an app?

No download is required.  This product runs in the Internet browser on your mobile phone.

Q. Is there support for handicaps?

Yes (for stroke-play events)!  When the event organizer sets up an event he can specify the course hole handicap ranking as well as the individual or team handicap.  Handicap calculations are automated from this point forward.  Note that as of 2020 Scrolf has implemented the World Handicap System (WHS).

Q. Are multiple round events supported?

Yes!  After the event organizer sets up the first round of an event he can add additional rounds.  Look here to learn how to add additional rounds to an event.

Q. How do I add match play (Ryder-cup) games to a stroke play event?

Match Play games (like Ryder-cup) can be added to any stroke-play event.  For Match Play Setup go to the <My Tournaments> page or the <Dashboard> page, and click the 'Match Play Setup' link for the corresponding event.

Q. How do I enter player stroke scores when the underlying match play game is Gross Alternate Shot (or similar)?

The gross score for the two players on the same side should be entered as the gross score for both players.

Q. How do I enter player stroke scores when the underlying match play game is Net Alternate Shot (or similar)?

The gross score for the two players on the same side should be entered as the gross score for both players.  Also, the match-play game should be setup to use Net scoring AND the handicaps for both players should be the same "team" handicap by whatever method you use for calculating the team's handicap for the alternate shot format.

Q. How do I exclude the results of a specific stroke play round from event totals?

In Tournament Setup for the round, enable the 'Exclude this round's scores from stroke-play leaderboard totals' checkbox in the Advanced Settings area.
